Stacking The Shelves is hosted at Tynga’s Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Last weekend was the Big book Sale in aid of the Jersey branch of Guide Dogs for the Blind. I was very restrained this time and only came home with these 4 books, unlike my husband and son who acquired 19 fantasy and sci-fi novels.
I picked up these freebies on Kindle recently
This is my recent library haul
I had this lovely book post for an upcoming blog tour

So, what have you been adding to your shelves lately?
Oh my…….the covers!!!! Happy Reading!!

It’s good fun, especially if you keep acquiring books. 😃

That cover of Slaughterhouse Five is astonishing! I need to read it already… 😛 I recently added 2 books by Neil Gaiman to my bookshelves: Neverwhere and The Ocean at the End of the Lane! Have you read those? 😮

I haven’t read any Neil Gaiman but my husband and son really enjoy his books.

4 books against 19, that doesn’t seem fair ;-). I like the good cause and it’s something that I’d want to support myself.. they don’t do much for animals here really.. although I do collect capsules and bring them in at work and maybe one day we’ll have collected enough for the training of a guide dog. I like the sound of Only The Dead 😉 but I’m so hesitant to start yet another series :-). Happy reading!

And those 19 were only 50p each unlike my books which cost £1 each 😁
