1. BLUE → A BOOK THAT MADE YOU SAD.

This is a beautifully written book but so sad. It gave me an amazing glimpse into the life of a wonderfully creative surgeon who loved his calling and respected his patients and colleagues. I found it extremely tough and upsetting to read about his diagnosis and treatment, as it brought back so many hidden emotions and forgotten memories of my when father went through the same thing, but in a much shorter space of time.

2. RED → BOOKWORM PROBLEMS THAT MAKE YOU ANGRY.

Not having the money to buy all the books and not having the time to read them!!

3. YELLOW → AN UPCOMING BOOK YOU’D BE HAPPY TO HAVE RIIIIGHT NOW.

Corrupted by Simon Michael I’ve got it on pre-order for June but I want it now!

4. GREEN → FAVOURITE UNLIKELY FRIENDS

I’m going to go with Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson. They make such a great team but Holmes can be so scathing in his comments when Watson doesn’t quite see things the way Holmes does.

5. GREY → A BOOK YOU ARE TOTALLY EMOTIONLESS ABOUT.

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen

I’ve tried both these books in various formats and a retelling,but I haven’t been hooked by either of them and have given up trying.

6. PINK → A BOOK ENDING (NO SPOILERS THOUGH!) THAT YOU LOOOOVE.

I loved everything about this book including the ending 🙂

7. PURPLE → A BOOK YOU NEVER REALLY UNDERSTOOD??

I DNF’d this one years ago as it felt far too contrived and pretentious for my liking.

8. WHITE → AN AUTHOR YOU’RE SCARED OF (THEY’RE SO MEAN TO THEIR CHARACTERS!)

I’m going to pass as I can’t think of author that I read that makes me feel like this.

9. BLACK → A BOOK YOU THINK IS POWERFUL AND INFLUENTIAL.

Written after the 2015 Paris terrorist attack, this is a powerful memoir about not seeking revenge or giving in to bitterness following the murder of his wife.

10. ORANGE → PLAYFUL CHARACTERS WHO ARE JUST TOO ADORABLE.

Bertie the beagle is truly adorable and the author gets the animal characters in this book so right, especially the cats and poodle later on in the story.
