Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
- Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
- Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
- Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
- Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is Best Books I’ve Read In 2018 (So Far). Gulp, how can I possibly choose only ten when I’ve read so many great books this year?Of course you do know that this list is probably going to change as soon as I’ve posted this! 😀
I’d love to know what happened to Tom if he had anymore interesting dates

I really enjoyed Station 11, and the Harold Fry book is great too.

I do love a futuristic dystopian novel, so Station 11 was perfect!

Ooo love a bit of Bill Bryson! And The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry is on my TBR. My friend highly recommended it, so I hope it was good.

Harold Fry was wonderful, especially on audio with Jim Broadbent narrating.

Oooh Nicki, I loved Days of Wonder, Lost for Words and of course Harold (who wouldn’t?). I’ve got The Cottingley Secret, The Lido and Another Woman’s Husband on my Kindle but I’m really going to have to add The Queen of Bloody Everything (and what a great title)

I haven’t heard of The Queen title. I’ll have to check that out-what a great cover. What a great list.

Thanks I read it earlier in the year and it was a wonderful tale full of 70s and 80s nostalgia.

Thanks it’s because I get quite bored reading the same genre! 😀

Understandable! I try to mix it up, but I’m definitely attracted to specific types of novel rather than others! 😆

Bryson is always wonderful, and Tale of Two Cities is an all time favorite of mine. I love that cover of Station Eleven, which is on my “urgent to-read” list. Lost in Words sounds really good too. Very eclectic list–thanks!
