Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
- Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
- Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
- Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
- Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is Favourite Novellas or Short Stories. I do enjoy short stories and have read quite a few over the years, so in no particular order here’s my Top Ten.
Snowy Places
Recognise any of these? Did they make your list this week?
Thanks for the tag!

It’s a wonderful collection written by the author of The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry.

Great list! I didn’t know JoJo Moyes had a short story – adding it to my TBR now!

No, I didn’t recognize any of the titles on your list. It’s always interesting when that happens.

The Agatha Christie one definitely caught my eye. Short stories by her? They must be mind-blowing. 😮

I think some of her short stories were with the protagonists Tommy and Tuppence, which were my favorite of her detectives.

Oh, I’ll have to look up The Last Post and The Novice’s Demon.
