Top 4 Thursday is a bi-weekly meme hosted by Ally@Ally Writes Things.
This week’s topic is Books That Make You Want To Time Travel another fantastic topic from Ally.
Step Back in Time by Ali McNamara
This a wonderful story about a woman who travels back in time to London in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. I’d love to visit London during the swinging sixties.
Daisy Belle: Swimming Champion of The World by Caitlin Davis
This is my current Pigeonhole read about a Victorian lady swimming champion, and it’s so good. I’d love to go back to this time to watch these amazing women in action
The Hourglass by Tracy Rees
I loved the 1950s story set in Tenby in Wales and would love to go back then when life was less complicated.
Another Woman’s Husband by Gill Paul
I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook earlier in the year especially the story about Wallis Simpson and her relationship with the Prince of Wales. I think going back to 1930s London would be such an interesting time to visit.
1930s London would be fascinating!

Such a fab topic! How wonderful would it be to be actually able to time travel… I really like your choices, especially going back to the 1930s or 1950s-1960s would be fascinating.

What a great meme. I have not seen this one before. I read a lot of historical fiction, but there is usually something terrible going on, so I wouldn’t want to go back there. I think The Paris Wife is one though.

Yes I decided to go for fairly modern eras for that very reason!
