Glad to see A Christmas Carol is getting its annual outing 😀 My favourite audio version is narrated by Martin Jarvis but I also once had the pleasure of seeing Patrick Stewart reading it live at the theatre. He was brilliant and I quite like the TV adaptation he starred in.

I love Martin Jarvis as a narrator and have few other Dickens by him, but not A Christmas Carol.

I want to read A Christmas Carol as well but I need to get ahead of my January schedule. Decisions, decisions.

It’s quite short so you might be able to sneak it in. 😀

That’s what I was thinking. Now I’m wondering if I should read that one first or Miss Marley 🤔🤦🏼♀️

Good question! Have you read a Christmas Carol before?

I don’t think so. I may have watched an adaptation but don’t really remember 🤦🏼♀️

In that case I suggest you read A Christmas Carol first and then Miss Marley.

I’ve been listening for a few years now and I just love this version so much. I got The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe from Audible a few months ago when it was part of the daily deal. I’m sure it’s still available.

I’m planning to re-read or listen to A Christmas Carol at the weekend, I try to get to it every year right before Christmas. I like the idea of Tom Baker as a narrator so might have to buy that version! 🙂 I’m hoping to get chance to read The Rumour before the end of the year, it’s calling to me from my TBR as it sounds so good! Hope you enjoy your reading this week 🙂

I’m reading Vox right now too! I agree with on the making you angry part! It’s also very chilling as a few years ago it would have seemed like a crazy idea, now… not so much!
