Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
- Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
- Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
- Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
- Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is new-to-me authors I read in 2018
A Book By A Female Author
I’d love to know what happened to Tom if he had anymore interesting dates
I don’t know of any of these authors, either!

Fantastic list! I loved Before We Were Yours! This year I will finally read my first Gill Paul – The Secret Wife. I put it on a reading challenge to be sure of it! I also have and want to read Days of Wonder!

Recognize a few of those, including some on my wishlist or in my TBR pile. Of course, although it’s lovely to discover new authors, it can be dangerous to the TBR pile or pocket, unless they’re debut authors. If I loved their book, I find myself adding any other books they’ve written to my wishlist. One of the books on my list was the 12th in a series….
