Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
- Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
- Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
- Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
- Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is Standalone Books That Need a Sequel. If you hover over the cover you should see why I think each book needs a sequel.
I really enjoyed this sci-fi YA and I’d love it if the author would write a prequel
I’d love to know what how Stella’s life turns out
I’d love to know what happened to Tom if he had anymore interesting dates
I’d love a follow up to this memoir
I loved this book about a cult in New Zealand and I’d love for there to be sequel
I think the author is actually writing a sequel so I’m hoping it’s on the way soon as I really enjoyed this one
I loved this book and I’d love to read a follow up to this story

Fab list! and I agree about Days of Wonder! Would be nice to see how Tom got on!

I didn’t know about the possibility of a sequel to The Existence of Pity (or if I did, I’ve forgotten) but I really enjoyed it as well and would welcome a sequel.

I remember the author mentioning that she was writing a second book but that it would be different to this one.

I haven’t read any of these, but I’m happy you love them enough to want a sequel. I love how you added text over each of the covers for your explanations.

I loved the ending of Need to Know but I’d still be intrigued to know what happened next! I love See You in September and would definitely read a follow-up to that one. Great post 🙂
