I came across this book tag on Bookish Rita recently and loved Rita’s answers so much that I’ve decided to join in. If you want to do this tag as well, you’re welcome to do it too!

❄️ Answer the questions
❄️ Tag as many people as you want!
Purr: as cats do this when they’re happy or relaxed, what is the book that makes you happiest or relaxed?
A Christmas Carol by Charles dickens always makes me laugh out loud when I listen to the audiobook read by Tom Baker. In fact just thinking about it now makes me feel happy and relaxed 🙂
Sleep: what was a book that put you to sleep or was just boring?

An Officer and A Spy by Robert Harris was far too dry for me that I gave up quite early on. I was very disappointed as I normally love his books.
Twitch while dreaming: have you ever dreamt of a book you read?

Oh yes I remember dreaming of Russian forests whilst reading Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith, a brilliant thriller I definitely recommend.
Seems to play nice… until the claws are out!: which book had the biggest plot twist?
A Mother’s Confession by Kelly Rimmer had an amazing twist that I really didn’t expect and it left me sobbing, something I rarely do.
Cuddles: which book character would you give a hug to?

Sophie in The Little Brooklyn Bakery and I’d tell her that everything is going to be great in the end.
Catnip: what’s a book that made you have warm and fuzzy feels?

The Wedding Diary by Margaret James part of her Charton Minster series. I loved the audiobook so much that I’ve listened to it twice and should probably listen to it again sometime soon.
Cat breeds: your favourite books?
These are just some of my favourites old and new 🙂
Getting the cat: how did you find your favourite books?

I found them either through the library, school a long time ago, freebies from publishers and family not particularly in that order. 😀
The Vet’s Office: your least favourite book
All Things Cease to Appear by Elizabeth Brundage I nearly gave up on it multiple times. I read the end to see if it was worth carrying on with, something I never do but I couldn’t work out what it meant and so I had to keep reading it. I leant it to a friend and told her she could keep it when she offered to return it, it was that bad!
Being in places they shouldn’t: least favourite cliché?

Myleast favourites are hiker gangs terrorising everyone in dystopians, the grumpy, alcoholic, divorced detective and my least favourite, catching your partner in bed with your best friend.
Final question — the good old cardboard box: most underrated book series?
Without a doubt it’s got to be Eva Dolan’s DI Zigic and DS Ferreira series. If you enjoy police procedurals you have to read this series!
I’m not tagging anyone but please join in if you want to!
Oh, man. A Mother’s Confession. Just thinking about it all this time later and it still brings a lump to my throat.

Cute tag! I can’t remember now if I’ve ever dreamt about a book.. I do hope it will be a fun book if I do though :-). I definitely want to check out Eva Dolan’s series. I was very impressed with the plot in her standalone novel!

Great tag, I really enjoyed reading your answers. I have such a hard time doing these types of tags. I think it takes me more time to figure out my answers than it does to read a book.

Thanks! I know what mean I only join in if it’s easy to do 😀

These are all amazing answers!!! I am so with you on the least favorite tropes bit. The drunk detective is the worst, but finding your spouse in bed with your best friend is even worse. Why would we need them???
