What’s made me happy this week?
Going for a walk on the beach
Enjoying a coffee and a book in my favourite coffee shop in town
Finding newly emerged ladybirds on a bush by my kitchen and discovering that they don’t have spots when they’re new. The second photo with the spots is the same ladybird the following day. 🐞
Seeing the Red Arrows unexpectedly fly over our house!!!
Having an author share my photo of her book on Instagram!!! 😍
Returning some books to the mobile library and not getting any more books out!!
Thinking about the fact that family and friends are arriving this week for holidays! One friend I haven’t seen for over 16 years because she moved to Australia. We have spoken over the years but not spent any time together since she emigrated with her family. I’m nervous, but I’m sure we’ll get on fine as she’s a book lover too and works in a book shop. 😀

I love this, as always, Nicki! I think lady bird is so much cuter than ladybugs like what we call them here. I hope you enjoy your friends and family! I get nervous in situations like that too!

Thank you! I didn’t mention that I didn’t have time to get any books because the mobile library was just about to drive to it’s next stop. If I’d had more time I would probably left with something 😀
