shelves-final

Shelf Control is a meme run by Lisa @ Bookshelf Fantasies.  It is a weekly celebration of the unread books on our shelves.  Pick a book you own but haven’t read, write a post about it (suggestions: include what it’s about, why you want to read it, and when you got it), and link up!

For more info on what Shelf Control is all about, check out Lisa’s introductory post.

Title: I See You
Author: Clare Mackintosh
Published: 2016
Pages: 372

What it’s about? (synopsis via Goodreads):

28005522“You do the same thing every day.
You know exactly where you’re going.
You’re not alone.

When Zoe Walker sees her photo in the classifieds section of a London newspaper, she is determined to find out why it’s there. There’s no explanation: just a grainy image, a website address and a phone number. She takes it home to her family, who are convinced it’s just someone who looks like Zoe. But next day the advert shows a photo of a different woman, and another the day after that.
Is it a mistake? A coincidence? Or is someone keeping track of every move they make…”

How and when I got it: I got a paperback copy when I subscribed to nb magazine a few years ago. Unfortunately it’s been sat on my shelf since then.

Why I want to read it: Going by the reviews it’s a good thriller, so I really want to read it.
