I listen to the children aged 4-11 talk about the 6 Library books they have to read throughout the summer holidays. It’s great fun and it’s my 4th year volunteering. 🙂

That is so darn cute!! I wish ye could give us snippets of their thoughts on the books. I always loved when me nephews discussed their thoughts of the books we read together. Of course now the oldest is a teenager so I have ceased to exist 🙂

Oooh it must be so good to volunteer at the library! I wish it was possible here! Ice cream? YES! But I keep staining all my clothes cos they melt too fast, haha!

You can never go wrong with ice cream! I could eat ice cream all year long (spoiler: I do, even when it’s freezing. xD) Enjoy your readalong and volunteering at the library sounds brilliant! It makes me miss having a proper library around even more… Have a wonderful weekend! xx

Thanks I sometimes eat ice-cream in the winter too. The readalong is going well although I seem to have spent more time reading all the posts on Instagram rather than reading the book! xx
