#AudioBookReview – My Family and Other Animals by Gerald Durrell #MyFamilyandOtherAnimals #LoveAudio
About the book: “Durrell’s autobiographical account of his childhood, concentrating on his time spent in Corfu 1935-39, is rich with both humour and naturalist observations on the ecosystems and nature of the island. A heartfelt and warming account of island life that impacted significantly on tourism in Corfu, this memoir is one for listeners all ages and inclinations.
I still have to watch that series… I’d expect it’s perfect for the current climate!

This sounds quite different from what I normally read, but if I can find the audiobook, I may just give it a listen. Wonderful review Nicki.

You know that many years ago they made a TV series out of this book. We enjoyed it very much!

Yes there’s but at least two series made over the years. The latest is with Keeley Hawes as the mother and it’s available on Netflix.
