Hello and Happy Friday! Itās time to join with Meggy @ChocolateānāWaffles to spread some positivity amongst all the doom and gloom on social media and in the news. Please feel free to join in with your own Happy Friday post and link to Meggyās post so that she knows and can say āhiā.

Whatās made me happy recently?
After over a year of looking, me and my family have finally moved to a new rental home. It’s such a relief, especially when we couldn’t look during lockdown, and then our landlords were getting impatient as they wanted the property for their son and his family. We’ve unpacked all the essentials, including our books and we’re settling in nicely. Time to relax and breathe š

I’m loving Sweet Magnolia’s on Netflix, a series that Jonetta @ Blue Mood Cafe recommended a few weeks ago. It’s such a sweet show that makes me feel good every time I watch an episode. I’m trying not to binge watch as there’s only 1 series available at the moment.
Having my husband and son at home for two weeks, so we could move in and enjoy our new home and neighbourhood together. š

Watching these parkour guys on YouTube!
Catching up with Series 4 of Peaky Blinders. The end of that first episode was shocking! š±š±š±

I like house moves if new one is better than previous one but I hate chaos after the move. It takes whole week to unpack and settle things.

Happy to hear you’re settling in! What made me happy this week: great books, painted toenails, kittie cuddles and, just now, a pizza and some rose wine to kick off the bank holiday weekend š

A full (new) house, how great. I hope it all went well and you’ll feel Home really soon. Oh your NG is going to go through the roof soon. I’d be happy to hear how Malorie was and if he can deliver again. Happy weekend Nicki!

I’m happy to hear you moved in okay! And I’m quite happy with the new audiobook feature on Netgalley too; I’ve now discovered I do like audiobooks as long as I’m in the right mood and I don’t have time to sit down and read. Sewing, painting and cleaning will be so much more entertaining with them! xD xx

Thanks! I’m always doing something else when I’m listening, even if I’m relaxing at the end of the day I’m playing a game on my tablet or phone xx

I’ve been terrible at listening to audiobooks while doing something that requires my brain so far haha. But with the painting coming up I’ll definitely be listening to at least one or two more. š xx
