Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
-
Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
-
Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
-
Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other blogger’s lists.
-
Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is Books I Read In One Sitting (or would have if I’d had the time) and here are my choices 🙂
Which Books Would Be On Your List? 📚📚📚

Goodnight Mister Tom sounds interesting!

It’s a lovely book for older children and one I’m so glad I’ve finally read!

I can only remember ever actually reading one book in one sitting and that was The Hunger Games trilogy because I was really ill and had nothing else to do but read. There are so many others I would have loved to do that with but I never have the time so they always end up being split into multiple sittings over the course of a few days!

Most of these are like that because there normally isn’t enough time in a day!

There really isn’t! I wish that someone would pay all of my bills so I could just sit and read all day!

The Midnight Library is so true!
I keep meaning to read something by Jane Harper. So many people have said they are page turners!

The audiobooks are excellent because they’re read by an Australian so it makes them feel so right!

You’ve got two on here that are in my queue to listen to, which is great (Jewell & Candlish)! Big Little Lies was the book that had me switch to more audio listening (that book was amazing on audio).
Wonderful choices, Nicki💜

For a short book, The Midnight Library actually took me a while to read but I only read audiobooks when doing something else, so the January lockdown wasn’t massively conducive to listening a lot!

Big Little Lies was addictive, but I felt that way about all LM’s books.

Great list of books! I enjoyed listening to The Midnight Library. I had trouble not listening to it; I just had to know what her next life would bring.

BIG LITTLE LIES is a page-turner for sure! I’m excited for Moriarty’s upcoming book. Hopefully, it will be as compelling as BLL.
Happy TTT!

It looks like I have some books to add to my TBR. I have read 3 and have 3 on my TBR, so that means 4 possibilities. Nice list Nicki.

Because of my dyslexia, the only books I’ve ever been able to read in one sitting were the story books I read to my kids at bedtime!
