I love the setting too! Rural Ireland is one of those places on my travel bucket list. And, just you mentioning Victoria Sponge makes me think of The Great British Bake-off, as we don’t have it in the US or at least don’t call it that but they often seem to make it on the show 😂. Wonderful review!

Fantastic 😂 I’m terrible at baking, my husband is so much better and enjoys it a whole lot more too!

This sounds like a great story, Nicki. Do you have to read the series, or can I read this one as a standalone. I like the setting as well. Wonderful review.

Thanks Carla and no you don’t need to read them in order. I’ve missed a few leading up to this one and it didn’t matter at all.

I saw this on another blog too and thought it looked good! I love baking, but don’t get to do it very often and when I do it doesn’t always turn out quite right 😂
I shall have to keep an eye out for this series of books!
