Week 2: (Nov. 7 to 12) – Fiction / Nonfiction Book Pairing (Doing Dewey)
This week, pair up a nonfiction book with a fiction title. It can be a “If you loved this book, read this!” or just two titles that you think would go well together. Maybe it’s a historical novel and you’d like to get the real history by reading a nonfiction version of the story.
I enjoyed my film spin on book pairing back in 2020, so I’m doing it again, but with just one book Resistance by Mara Timon. It’s a historical fiction novel set in occupied France during WW2. I really enjoyed it and had a small binge of espionage related films and TV series on Netflix recently.
A Call to Spy
Churchill’s Secret Agents The New Recruits
The Worricker Trilogy starring Bill Nighy
Official Secrets starring Keira Knightley

I love the idea of Fiction/NonFiction Book Pairings.
