Great charity shop bargains. I’m always amazed at the good stuff people donate to my local one but I’ve got anything for as little as 50p.

It is amazing! I could’ve picked up a hardback copy of The Island f Missing Trees for £1 but resisted as I’ve already listened the audiobook.

I recently bought a copy of that and the best I could do was a Waterstones buy one get one half price offer which obviously meant I had to buy two books and spend way more than £1!

Great haul Nicki, I was declined for The It Girl, so will wait until it comes out and either buy it or get it from the library. I am also going to cancel my audible subscription as I have so many that I bought and haven’t listened to yet. I have a few from audible plus to listen to before I do it though. Enjoy all your upcoming reads.

Wow lots of books this week! It’ll be hard picking which one to read first!
I pre-ordered the Claire Douglas novel because I already have a collection of her paperbacks and I just know it’ll be great. I also have a copy of The boy Who Steals Houses but I haven’t read it yet. If it’s resembling her first novel it’ll be quite emotional so I need to pick the right moment.

Yes I like Claire Douglas too and was thrilled to be approved for that one! Thanks for the warning about The Boy who Steals Houses being emotional!

Wow 50p each, what a steal! The rest of your haul looks splendid too… I enjoyed J.R.R. Tolkien and I’m excited to read Tick Tock after seeing you enjoyed it. The Boy Who Steals Houses is fantastic by the way! And I can’t wait to get a copy of the new Ruth Ware… I hope you will enjoy all of these! xx
