My Review

I loved this audiobook, it was such fun, and confirmed to me that Rich Amooi is one of my favourite romance authors.

This was a light-hearted romance centred around Jack, the owner of an established coffee-shop and Susie the owner of a new tea-shop, that just happened to be right next door to each other. As you’d expect there were rivalries and misunderstandings, plus coffee, tea and delicious pastries and scones!

I loved the stop start romance between Jack and Susie, it felt quite natural and not too over the top, like it can be with the enemies to lovers trope. They were both lovely characters who I really enjoyed spending time with.

I loved Greg Tremblay’s narration. He’s a new-to-me narrator and his portrayal of all the main and minor characters was excellent, including Chimichanga, Jack’s rescue Chihuahua!!

Highly recommended if you enjoy light-hearted romance on audio.
