Your post reminded my of a past favourite “The Bird Tribunal”, and also of a book that I’d really like to read “We Begin at the End”.

Loved both of those Lynne, and can highly recommend We Begin at the End.

Lots of good books on this list! I’ve got Notting Hill in the Snow on my TBR for this Christmas if I can get through all the ARCs I seem to have accumulated.

Wow again! How many times do you think you’ve read it?

I’ve only ever read it once hahahah With everything Tolkien I’ve checked out since, I’m due for a reread soon. 😀

You’re definitely due a reread then! You’ll have to check out the Andy Serkis audiobook as well sometime! In fact he reads the LOTR books as well.

Oh, I did listen to it as an audiobook too (it was a BBC radio production and a very short dramatization of the book)!
