My Review

I really enjoyed this audiobook, set in a English country house at Christmastime.

It was a very clever whodunnit full of those infamous Agatha Christie red herrings! Everyone was suspicious and had secrets to hide, which made me keep changing my mind about who the murderer was.

I saw a dramatised version of this a few years ago, but couldn’t remember who the murderer was. I very surprised when the big reveal came, even though there had been a massive clue just before!

Once again Hugh Fraser’s narration was superb. I love the way he seemed to get every character right, regardless of age or gender or nationality!

Highly recommended if you enjoy golden age murder mysteries on audio!
