Sounds interesting. I’m not usually keen on the Japanese fiction I’ve read, something about the style of writing I guess.

It’s an interesting read! It ended abruptly and I wished the author had provided more. I’m sure it’s because I had just read No Two Persons which has such a lovely ending! I did like this a lot more than Days at the Morisaki Bookshop. Nice review!

Thanks Carol. How funny as it didn’t feel like an abrupt ending to me. 😂

Maybe abrupt isn’t the right word I’m looking for. It left me wanting more!

So great that you found a favourite one! I’ve only read one or two Japanese books so far but I’m intrigued and the fact that it’s about books is definitely a bonus! I wonder which book I’d be getting now 🙂

I keep seeing this book at our neighborhood bookshop. I’ll give this a go. I’m recommending Days at the Morisaki Bookshop, if you haven’t read it yet. Also would love to share with you my journey: https://wp.me/pfqfCZ-1M
