February has been a fab bookish month. I read/listened to a total of 12 books. I read 2 books and 3 novellas and listened to 7 audiobooks, which included 3 full length novels, 3 short stories and a dramatisation of a children’s book.
Personally it’s been a very tough month as my mother-in-law is terminally ill, with a variant of CJD which has seen her rapidly deteriorate in a matter of weeks. She lives in Wales with her husband, so we’ve been back and forth twice now and will be going back again soon. So if I’m not around much you’ll know why!
Favourites This Month
I loved these three but have only reviewed A Death in Diamonds so far
Bookish Travel
I love it when Yvo, Carla and Lynne post their armchair travels and I’ve been meaning to do the same for ages. I’ve decided to add it to these wrap ups rather than doing a separate post. In February I travelled to 9 countries which isn’t bad at all! 😀

England
France

Canada

Thailand

USA
Italy

Australia

The Netherlands
Spain/Ibiza

Fierce hugs.

Sorry to hear about your MIL Nicki, that’s a tough time you’re all going through. I’ll be thinking of you. At least you had a good bookish month. I’ve recently read books by Abby Jimenez and Ashley Poston and enjoyed them. I like the idea of the armchair travels, though I’m reading so many US based books I might have to make it by US states instead. Take care and sending best wishes xx

Sorry to hear about your MiL….are there other siblings to help?

Thanks Carol. My brother-in-law is up in Scotland and has visited as well, but it’s long drive for him. My MiL is moving from hospital to home tomorrow which is close to where her husband lives, which will make it much easier for him to visit.
