November has been a fab bookish month, I read 4 books and listened to 8 audiobooks, making a total of 12 books. As well as reading I finally deleted my Twitter and Insta accounts. I’m only on Bluesky now, which is a much friendlier social media site, where a lot of bookish people have moved to. It doesn’t use algorithms, so you actually get to see posts from people you follow. If you’re on there and want to say hi you can find me @nickimags.bsky.social 😀
Favourites
These are my standout favourites! ICYMI here are my reviews for Doing Time, Saving Time and The Penguin Lessons. My review for Famous Last Words will be posted in the New Year, closer to the publication date.

Really great month, Nicki💜 Congrats on pulling the plug on Twitter. I probably will delete my account later this month.

That’s such a great travel month! I’ve added The Penguin Lessons to my TBR and I hope to read it next year… It will be interesting reading about the Latin American countries I’ve already visited in person. I’m curious about Gabriel’s Moon as well.
Also, I totally get what you mean with Twitter and Instagram. I stopped using Instagram for books years ago, and while I haven’t deleted my Twitter yet I don’t exactly use it either. It seems like the only thing I see is ads every three tweets or so, so I hardly even bother to open the app. xx

Thanks it was a great travel month! that’s fantastic about The Penguin Lessons I hope you enjoy it when you get to it.
I stopped using Insta a while back, but held onto my account for no particular reason and Twitter just felt horrible in the end. xx
