Any week is better with good music, a good book and ice cream! What’s made me happy this week: sunshine, the flowers in my garden and the bees zooming happily from one flower to another and cuddles with Cappuccino.

Thanks Jo š The YouTube channel is called Chickenshop Date, and Shania Twain is one of the guests. It’s basically celebraties being interviewed in local fast food chicken diners. It’s very funny and she’s had some big guests on like Cher, Andrew Garfield, Cynthia Erivo and Billie Eillish and many more!

This week, I had a slice of carrot cake..the homemade kind with shredded carrots, raisins and cream cheese icing. It was heaven!

A day late! We had a couple of my husband’s cousins from Australia who we’d never met before at our houaey last night. We invited other family members round, the sun shone and we had a BBQ. It was a fantastic evening filled with sharing memories of the relatives who linked them.

Books, music and ice cream sounds like just the ticket for a great week! One of my highlights this week was the excuse to bake again: an orange cake infused with homemade raspberry/blueberry jam. xx
