October has been a busy month, but not on the book front. Sadly my elderly Mum’s health is deteriorating, so me and my sister have been busy keeping an eye on her, taking her to various appointments, and also getting her to ask for help more often. It’s been very stressful, so my reading, listening and blogging has definitely slowed down this month. I listened to 5 audiobooks and read 3 books making a total of 8 books.

My mom’s last five years were so difficult for her and stressful for the family. I’m sorry you are experiencing this. She is blessed to have you. Treasure each day. 💔

I’m so sorry to hear about your Mom, Nicki. I’m sure it’s difficult to see. Sending you love and gentle hugs.
As for the rest of your post? The StoryGraph stats look so pretty. I’ve barely used my account there, so I didn’t know it existed. (Maybe I should start using it in January?) I especially loved the Bookish Travel section–that’s so cool! I wish I’d thought of that myself… excuse me while my eyes get a little greener with envy. LOL! Seriously, though, it’s a really fantastic and fun idea. Well done!

Thanks Betty! The bookish travel is down to Yvonne @ Its All About Books, who’s been doing it for years. StoryGraph is brilliant, so much better than Goodreads these days.

Thanks for the info on bookish travel! If I ever get back to doing a monthly wrap-up post, I’d like to use it, as well, so it’s good to know who to credit for the idea–both who did it first, and where I saw it first. 🙂
Sounds like I really need start familiarizing myself with the StoryGraph site.! I’ll try to find time to start exploring it in the next few days.

As someone who has taken care of an elderly parent in decline, I’m sending you virtual hugs because I know how hard it is.
As for the reading, I love the idea of tracking where my reading/listening takes me around the world. I may just start tracking that!
