Day 20 – A book from your favourite series

Messenger of Truth by Jacqueline Winspear

This is another difficult prompt, because I have more than one favourite series. As you know I love The Rivers of London series and Jodi Taylor’s Chronicles of St. Mary’s and The Time Police. I also love The Thursday Murder Club, The Mydworth Mysteries, and Julie Caplin’s Romantic Escapes, but I’m going with a book from the Maisie Dobbs historical cosy mystery series by Jacqueline Winspear. I finished the series last year having borrowed the books from the library, and taken part in blog tours as well. I didn’t read them in order as they weren’t always available. Messenger of Truth is book 4 of the 18 books. I only read it a couple of years ago, but it was a really good mystery, with a wonderful sense of place. I still remember how much I enjoyed it, and I wish I’d found a copy earlier.
