Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
-
Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
-
Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
-
Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other blogger’s lists.
-
Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

Julie Caplin/Jules Wake has been a useful author this week hasn’t she? Great selection. I hadn’t thought about The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe! ❄️

Oops, I haven’t read any. Snowy places aren’t my favourite, especially not since most books are centred around te “Stranded/snowed in” trope which I don’t like.

So nice to see Winnie the Pooh on here and if I was still in my Middle Grade era, I’d definitely want to read The Last Bear 🙂

Great list, Nicki. This prompt has me thinking about books set in the Canadian wilderness…

No, if I’m honest 🤣 Greenwood by Michael Christie and The Innocents by Michael Crumley came to mind, and then I expanded out into Alaska and the Arctic more generally.

I love your great mix of books, Nicki. I wouldn’t have thought of Winnie the Pooh.
