Once again I’m joining in with Sam’s, When Are You Reading? Challenge. It’s one of my favourite reading challenges of the year and I think I’ve been taking part in it since 2018! 😮

Here’s Sam’s introduction:

“I’m back again for the thirteenth year of the WHEN ARE YOU READING? challenge! If you did this before, welcome back! If you’re new, welcome! Let me know if you have any questions or feel free to make up your own answers.

The challenge page is here. If you’d like to participate, leave me a comment somewhere on the blog letting me know and giving me a link to your challenge page or post. I’ll add a link to my challenge page so other readers can visit you and see what you’ve been reading.

The time periods are the same as the 2025 challenge.

The complete challenge will include 12 books from the following eras:

Pre 1200

1200-1499

1500-1699

1700-1799

1800-1899

1900-1919

1920-1939

1940-1959

1960-1979

1980-1999

2000-Present

The Future

‘Rules’

  • Determination of what year a book belongs in is the decision of the participant. On the whole, choose a year where the largest part of the action occurs or the most important event.

  • I will compile a list of those participating on this page but you can link back to this page to be added to the list so that other participants can find us!”
