My Review

I love Julie Caplin’s Romantic Escapes series, and this is the first in a spin off series, called Christmas Escapes!

I loved the setting of Christmas in New York, and felt like I’d been there as I discovered the city with Evie and Noah. I really enjoyed the clever fake dating situation between them, which also incorporated an enemies to lovers scenario as well.

I really like Evie, she was a really lovely character, full of life, but also full of sadness too, which she hid pretty well from most people. It took me a while to warm to Noah, but I got there in the end and enjoyed how he thawed towards Evie.

The romance was a slow burn, but it had some very spicy moments, in fact some of it was too steamy for me! 😳

If you’re looking for a romance, and don’t mind steamy scenes, then I definitely recommend this one. In fact, I recommend all of Julie Caplin’s Romantic Escapes books!

Thanks so much to One More Chapter and NetGalley for my digital ARC.
