I really enjoyed In Love and War. I’m currently reading Do No Harm which is a factual book by Henry Marsh the brain surgeon for my reading group on Monday. I have just read and loved Our House by Louise Candlish and I’m not sure what to go for next. Maybe The Craftsman by Sharon Bolton for the blog tour. If anyone would like to visit my blog it’s here https://lindasbookbag.com/ Thanks Nicki xx

Currently reading the second in the Simon Serrailler series by Susan Hill “The Pure In Heart” after recently discovering and enjoying “The Various Haunts Of Men”. Have just finished “The Hoarder” by Jess Kidd – recommended. See my review over at http://www.reviewsrevues.com. Next up, Kate Atkinson. Loved “Life After Life” and have waited a while to read “A God In Ruins”. Have been saving it as a treat – hope it lives up to my expectations. I’m choosing to read a lot of female authors this year.

I almost bought The Lido and then I didn’t. Sometimes I can apparently show restraint. Who knew? 🤣
Curious to see what you think of it though. Happy reading! xx

I really like the look of Tapestry of War – in fact, I’m on the blog tour – but unfortunately I couldn’t commit to a review so I’ll have to read it at some point in the future (when will that actually be, she wonders…)
