Like a lot of bloggers I can’t quite believe it’s the end of April already, where has this month gone? I’m very glad that I’ve managed to read/listen to 10 books again this month.
Favourite Audiobook
I listened to 6 audiobooks this month, I loved all of them but A Tale of Two Cities was definitely my favourite this month. Me and classics don’t normally go together, but I have to say I absolutely loved listening to it as Martin Jarvis was a perfect narrator. I enjoyed it so much that I’ve bought 3 more Dickens audiobooks with him narrating.

I don’t normally get along with classics either but have enjoyed a few. I have never read a tale of two cities. I did read a retelling done in fantasy. It was sad and I heard the original quite sad too.

I don’t know where the month went; I feel like this was the first month this year that just sped by in a flash. Luckily, I was able to read quite a lot this month, so I’m not upset. :p Tapestry of War looks great! I’ll have to check that out. Happy reading!

I agree Martin Jarvis is an excellent narrator – he narrates my favourite version of A Christmas Carol. What a varied selection of books you got through this month. As far as books go, it must have been ‘ the best of times’ (see what I did there?)
