Well this is a lovely surprise, as it appears that I have actually read enough books to complete the 20 Books of Summer reading challenge hosted by Cathy@746books. To be honest with you I’d given up on it because I’d hardly read read any of the books on my list, but I’ve just discovered to my absolute delight that it doesn’t matter one bit. So hurrah I’ve completed it!!!
A Book That is More Than 10 Years Old
Did you join in this year and how did you do?
Woohoo! Well done! 🥂

Lists? Who cares! You read 20 so that’s a win for sure. I read all 20 and am hoping to post my last review tomorrow. Thanks for taking part x

Thanks! 🙂 I haven’t reviewed them all but I’m very happy especially compared to my measly 7 last year!

Well done Nicki. After a very eventful summer I didn’t even manage the ten books I planned to read

Thanks! I’d actually given up as I hadn’t read many on my list. You’ve got a very reason for not reading your ten. Hope your new hope is perfect xx

Grats on getting all of that reading done! I didn’t do the challenge, but I did read 20 books this summer.
Have a great September!

Yay – congratulations! I totally diverted course from my list also. Death on the Nile was a title on my list (that I did actually read! haha!); I guessed the gist of the plot right from the get go, but a good Agatha Christie read nonetheless.
Happy autumn reading!!

Yes indeed, well done you! I need to be kinder to myself (and more realistic) when putting together next year’s list… However, I find challenges like this great fun as it’s so interesting to see what others are reading and how they are progressing. An example of the book community at its best, I think – and couldn’t we all do with some positive vibes with the world as it is at the moment?

Great job Nicki. You read some good books for this challenge and some that I either already have on my TBR or some that I need to add. I also finished, but have not put my post up yet.
