I’ve only managed to read/listen to 8 books this month. I’m a bit disappointed to be honest as I wanted to hit my usual 10, but I’m not sure what went wrong.

I finished 2 audiobooks this month and enjoyed both of them but the stand out one has got to be Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate.

I loved these 3 books this month and highly recommend them if you’re looking for something to add your tbr mountain.

My August was pretty rubbish on the reading front too – I have forgiven myself because the school holidays meant I had to work hard to cover in the office and we had lots of social events which resulted in a lack of traction at the weekends too.

We all have those times where we wonder what happened to the month, week etc and not get done what we had hoped. I looks like the books you did read were all pretty good ones and some I need to add to my TBR now.
