Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

I read so many mixed reviews that I’m a bit hesitant about it now.

I read some blog reviews a few months ago that made me feel quite nervous about the domestic violence, but I guess I can dnf if it gets too much.

I absolutely loved Shelter so would definitely recommend that but Dear Mrs. Bird and Old Baggage are great too.

I found the audiobook on the Libby app the other day so I think I’ll listen to it instead.

Good luck picking these up soon – highly recommend Old Baggage and Dear Mrs Bird! Way too scared to count up books I should have read last year…. think it might be a few more than 10 hee hee!

Educated was one of my favourite books of the year, and made it on to my recommended reading post of 2018 also – hard to read at times, but a powerful story. I can see how some themes within wouldn’t be for everyone though.
I keep seeing and hearing about Dear Mrs Bird… But I’m nervous to read it, because I keep seeing and hearing about it. Haha!
I hope you’re able to enjoy some of these titles this year.
