Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
- Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
- Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
- Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other blogger’s lists.
- Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is Book Titles with Numbers
I loved last week’s topic, but because I was on a blog tour I didn’t take part. Hopefully it’s okay to post a week later? I really enjoyed trawling through my WordPress media gallery to come up with this list. These are books that I’ve either read, or are on my tbr. 😀

Really enjoyed this memoir
Loved this audibook

Really interesting book

One of the first books read on OverDrive

I think I enjoyed researching my numbers post last week more than any other Top Ten this year. I was surprised to see how many books with numbers in the title that I have read.
Your post has also reminded me that I still have Four Tendencies in my TBR.

It’s a great topic, and as you say surprising to see how many books have numbers in the titles.

Great titles, I have to read Thirteen! I also have a novel Thirteen (translated in Dutch so Dertien) but it’s a novel by Stuart MacBride. I still need to read that one too though 😂 Thirteen hasn’t been a lucky number yet 🤣

Great list! The ones that immediately sprung to mind for me were:
Fahrenheit 451
The 13 1/2 Lives of Captain Bluebear (it’s as madcap as the title suggests!)
Mr Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore

Some good titles here. I loved Three Cups of Tea, but I know there is a lot of controversy about it.

Thanks Carla. I loved Three cups of Tea as well and thought it was an amazing book, just shame about the controversy surrounding it.

I am so glad you posted this anyway, great selection! I loved 101 Dalmatians and it’s an original choice as well. Don’t think I have seen it on other lists.

Thanks 😊 Did you read it or listen to it?

I read it. This was way before I discovered audiobooks.

Great picks! Thirteen would definitely on my list as well as it’s one of my favorites… And what about The Seven Deaths Of Evelyn Hardcastle or The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo? 😉

I’d also have Thirteen and 55. And Fahrenheit 451 and a Spanish one called Toscana para dos (Tuscany For Two). And probably a few more that I don’t remember 😄

I think I have a copy of Child 44 waiting, countless years, for it to be cracked open hahah Great list! I would have probably instantly put 1984 on here. 😛
