March started off quite well for me, but it all went pear-shaped and now my concentration is pretty much non-existent, like everyone else. I read 4 books, and listened to 3 audiobooks making a grand total of 7! I normally like to read an even number of books each month, but it really doesn’t seem that important at the moment.
Favourite Audiobooks
I enjoyed the audiobooks I listened to, but none totally blew me away, so no favourites for March
Other Favourites
I loved these books and highly recommend you add them to your tottering tbrs! 😀

The only one I have read/listened to is the Peter Swanson book. Hope you get your reading mojo back, Nicki.

Good! I’m thinking of taking another blogging break next week as I just can’t concentrate. I’m not sure if it’s a good idea or not.

Last month I discovered audio books. It’s quite an expensive hobby when you’re not a reviewer. Ont top of this, I was racing to meet my self-imposed deadline to get the third part of my pentalogy The Maharajagar ready for publication before the end of March. But audio-books are great for people who’ve spend already to many hours to stare at a computer screen during daytime.

I really want to read Eight Perfect Murders but I don’t want to spoil the famous murder mysteries so I will have to read those before I pick this one up! Great post.

Thanks! It’s definitely a good idea to read them first as this will definitely spoil them for you.

I love your comment about reading an even number of books each month! What is the reason for that? Anyway, I’m sorry you find it hard to concentrate on reading at the moment, which I’m sure goes for a lot of people. To me it’s still a good way of distracting myself from the news, but it has to be a page turner 🙂

I don’t know the reason, I think I did it once and thought it was a nice figure and have stuck with it. 😀

Seven was my total too. Off my pace but still good considering the mental distractions! That’s interesting that you try for even numbers! I think most months for me are odd! Never thought about it!

I try to aim for 10 as it’s a nice number. 😀

I read 7 books in March also, but for me that was actually an improvement from February… Concentrating is quite hard at the moment.
I am intrigued by Secrets of the Mist – what a tagline!
Happy reading in April.
