Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
-
Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
-
Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
-
Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other blogger’s lists.
-
Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is Most Anticipated Releases for the Second Half of 2020, and here are some of mine!
Which Books Would Be On Your List? 📚

Stuart Turton and Ruth Ware are also on my list. And the new Alex North.

I think I only have one that I am really looking forward to (John Connolly The Dirty South), the others can wait a while.

Nice! I love her books and normally borrow them from the library as I’m probably not going to read it twice.

Stuart Turton for sure! I’ve read One By One and it wasn’t as Gothic as I’d hoped (or at all) and I was a little disappointed.

That’s a shame about the Ruth Ware! I haven’t read any of her books yet so will I be disappointed?
LikeLiked by 1 person
No, I’m pretty sure you’ll love it. It was a lot like Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None, suspenseful and excellently written, it’s just that my expectations were off, I loved the Gothic vibes in her last 2 books and I’d hoped and expected that One By One would have that too but it didn’t and I missed that.

Nice list! I’ve read ONE BY ONE. It’s not my favorite Ware book, but I enjoyed it. THE BOOK OF TWO WAYS is on my list today. I’ve been a longtime fan of Picoult’s, so I always get excited when I see she has a new book coming out. I’ve enjoyed books by Jewell, so I’m looking forward to hers as well. I hope you enjoy all these!
Happy TTT!

Yes it’s the follow up, but had to be put back to September because her husband isn’t well.

Ah, I’m sad to hear about her husband. I guess it wasn’t unexpected, though.
