Happy New Year everyone! 😀
December was a fab bookish month for me! I got through 12 books in December, I read 5 books and listened to 7 audiobooks.
Favourite Audiobooks
With the exception of The Virgin Widow, I enjoyed all the audiobooks I listened to, but my absolute favourite was The Wrong Man, book 7 in the Mydworth cosy mystery series. If you love cosy mysteries you definitely need this series in your life!
Other Favourites
I read some fab books, but my standout favourites were Just Haven’t Met You Yet by Sophie Cousens a wonderful romance and Not Cool: Europe by Train in a Heatwave by Jules Brown, a very funny travel memoir!

My favorite book in December was The Maid by Nita Prose (which comes out today). It’s a fantastic thriller read. So unexpected. You had an excellent month of reads, Nicki! Can’t wait to see what January holds.

I just finished The Guest List by Lucy Foley. It was very good. Hope 2022 is filled with lots of good books for us both,

Looks like it was a great December in reading, Nicki. I am waiting for my library to get Just Haven’t Met You Yet, as so many bloggers love it. I hope your January is a great one as well.

Really glad to see what you got through! Especially when you had moments throughout 2021 where the slump hit you hard. I guess we should be thankful for the discovery of shrug day too! 😀
