I had a little splurge in Waterstones yesterday with some vouchers. Got some classic crime novels from AA Milne, James Cain and Patricia Highsmith!

I think the problem with reading too many books like this is that they can start to bug. I know there has to be denial/misunderstanding/angst depending on the trope but I just want to cut to the chase.
