My Review

This was great fun, and so good to be back in the company of Elizabeth, Joyce, Ibrahim and Ron, again.

What can I say that I haven’t said about this series before? It was a delight from start to finish, and made me laugh out loud, a lot. There were some very nasty characters in this book, but nothing fazed The Thursday Murder Club, as they went about trying to find out why their friend had been so brutally murdered. Elizabeth was busier with Stephen in this book, so Joyce took more of a lead than usual, and she was brilliant!

Of course Chris and Donna, the local police detectives were present throughout, as were Bogdan and Patrice. Connie Johnson also makes a few appearances, as well as as Victor from the last book.

The mystery was a very good and I only worked out whodunnit towards the big reveal, even though I still wasn’t absolutely certain who it was.

Highly recommended and i cannot wait to reread it, and will definitely be reading Book 5 in the future. I also can’t wait to read Richard Osman’s new series next year!
