January was a fab bookish month for me. I read 6 and listened to 9 audiobooks, so 15 in total! Personally it’s been a tough month as my elderly Mum, who’s just celebrated her 88th birthday, hasn’t been well. So if I’m not around much that’s why.

I love the bookish travel idea. I need to go back to StoryGraph. I haven’t been keeping it current.

It’s great fun keeping track of where I travel each month and I love StoryGraph, so much nicer than Goodreads!

I’m sorry to hear that your mom is having health issues. I know how difficult that is, especially as they get older. Hugs to you both. I hope to read an Agatha Christie book each month. Maybe Orient Express will be this month. You had a good reading month considering that you were busy. I hope February is good to you in all areas of your life.

A great bookish month for you Nicki, hope you’re mum is feeling better? Can I ask what software you use to produce your graphics? Not sure why I think I can tangle with something new when I can’t cope with what I do have but always good to shake things up a bit xx

Thanks Jill it was good. My Mum’s on the mend thank goodness. The graphics are from StoryGraph, they do them each month, so I don’t have to fiddle around with Excel. 😂 xx

I’ll take a look thanks. I’ve not tangled with StoryGraph. Do you use this instead of Goodreads for cataloguing your books? xx

I use both, but prefer StoryGraph because it works really well and feels much nicer than GR.

Thanks Nicki, I’ve just had a look at Storygraph, I might stick with Goodreads for now as all my books are on there. I can I can export to Storygraph but Goodreads had a blip and marked a lot of my unread books as read. I know which one’s aren’t as it stilll shows them as being on shelves it shouldn’t do. However, I might look at just adding books read to add a bit of graphic glamour occassionally.
