I started listening to the second book of this new to me series at the end of December 2024. I borrowed it via the Libby App, not knowing that I would love it and then go on to binge listen to the rest of  the series!

I listened to this via the BBC Sounds app, and loved it even though it was heavily abridged.

Even though this was set during WW2, it was such an uplifting read!

I loved the first book in this series, but this book was far too close to home, as I read it just as the Trump changed his stance on the war in Ukraine, and it made for quite a depressing read.

I loved this third book in the Paul Hirsch series set in Australia
