Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
-
Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
-
Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
-
Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other blogger’s lists.
-
Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

All great choices!

Re-reading is a pretty alien concept to me as I never seem to have the time – or inclination, come to that. I’m interested in why you choose to re-read a book, after what period of time you do it, is it a particular type of book?

Normally I want to re-read because I had such a good time the first time around, and just want to revisit it. If it’s a crime or mystery it has to be long enough that I don’t remember whodunnit. Cards on the Table by Agatha is favourite that I listened to a few years ago and can’t remember most of the plot so it’s probably okay to listen to it again.

The 24 Hour Cafe sounds interesting. I recently read a book about a 24 hour bookstore, but I imagine they’re rather different!

Well this is very timely as I’m currently reading reading my way through the In Death books by JD Robb. It’s a bit unusual for me although I have read the following
All the sci-fi books by Veronica Scott
Widdershins series by Jordan L Hawk
Society of Gentlemen trilogy by KJ Charles

I don’t reread, with one exception, Nicki. I read or listen to A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens each year. Too many books, too little time.

I haven’t read any of these although I do like the sound of the ones set in a bookstore or a cafe.

Great selection! I definitely wouldn’t mind rereading We Solve Murders and I already know that I will want to revisit the The Chronicles Of St. Mary’s in the future. xx

I adore WE SOLVE MURDERS! It’s SO fun. When a new book in the series comes out (hopefully, some time soon), I’ll likely reread it so I can remember who’s who and what’s what and because I just enjoyed it so much. I hope you enjoy your rereads!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
