I was quite disappointed by it, probably because I love the library collection so much! Loved the actually hippo though! 😂 xx

I’ve just started Guarding Cassie by Kaylea Cross. In the last week I’ve read:
I Don’t Say a Word by Allison Brennan.
2 Claus by Sue Mercury.
3 Hijack by Elsa Jade.
4 At Risk by Stella Rimington. A new author for me. This one is from 20 years ago, although I’ve only just bought it. She died recently, sadly. I hope to continue with the series
Not sure what’s up next.

Fab! I read a few earlier books by Stella Remington years ago and quite enjoyed them.

I’m always looking for more poetry to read. Are you enjoying Days Like These?

An interesting mix of books. How are the poems going? I do like translated Japanese stories. I’ve read 3 so far! The mystery one was my favourite (Point Zero by Seicho Matsumoto).
Have a great week!

Loving the poems second time around, but disappointed with this collection of Japanese short stories.

Oh that’s a shame about the Japanese short stories. I’m a bit meh about short stories in general. They need to be really good and well balanced for me to enjoy them. I don’t like a big detailed build up and then nothing at the end 😂
