Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other blogger’s lists.
Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is Books About/Set In Places on My Bucket List, but I don’t have much of bucket list, so I’m following Joanne’s lead and sharing Books Set In Places I’ve visited instead.

I’m enjoying seeing everyone’s lists and books this week, I keep meaning to read the book of fire, I’d also like to read more Elif Shafak books

I love Christy Lefteri’s books, they’re always thought provoking.

Yes, she’s a brilliant writer. Songbirds really opened my eyes to a topic I hadn’t thought about.

Nice list Nicki. I’ve been everywhere on your list except Greece and Cyprus!

Thanks! I’ve been to a few Greek islands as well as the mainland but not for a long time.

I think I’m one of very few people who absolutely loathed Paris. Love London though.

I haven’t been since the 90s so might not like it now! I love London too!

Lovely list, Nicki. I’ve been to five of the places you mentioned, but not for very long, a few days only, which means, I want to go back. Some of your books are on my TBR, so at least I will eventually travel there virtually.

Thanks, Carla. I’ve only spent 24 hours in Rome, and I definitely want to go back!

That is 12 hours more than I spent there. I also want to go back. I think I need to spend a month and travel around Italy. Wouldn’t that be an amazing trip?

Lovely selection, Nicki. I’d have to include Vianne by Joanne Harris on my list – she bring Marseille to life beautifully x

What a great idea for a list! I love London and Paris as well. The Snow Child representing Alaska would be on my list (if I ever get to make one)

Great list! I didn’t realize Nemesis would take us to Germany… That makes me even more excited to pick it up. Cyprus is definitely on my bucket list. xx
