May was has been a fantastic bookish month! I read and listened to 14 books, a combination of short stories, middle grade, novels and memoirs. Personally it’s been a hard month, as my elderly Mum (89), has been seriously ill, and ended up in hospital for a week. She’s back home again, after being fitted with a pacemaker, she’s not great, but she’s at home, with all my siblings, which is where she wants to be.
For those of you who enjoy graphs, here are my stats from StoryGraph
Favourites These were standout my favourites, but I haven’t reviewed any of them, oops! 😳

How was your May? Did you read or listen to any good books?
Well done on all the reading, it sure is a great distraction during tough times. Sending love to you all and glad to hear your Mum is home with family xx
Sorry to hear your mom has been unwell! I’m glad she is back home… Sending positive thoughts your way. ❤
And wow, what an absolute fantastic travel month! Already added Truck It! to my TBR… 😉 Appointment With Death is one I might read later this year, although I still need to read Dumb Witness and Three Act Tragedy first.
I’m happy to hear your mom is home 🙏
