My Review

This was such a lovely short story from Jojo Moyes, one of my favourite authors.

It’s been released as a single short story on audio, even though it was originally part of a collection of short stories which I reviewed back in 2017. I vaguely remembered the story, but it didn’t ruin my experience this time around as it’s so well written.

I loved Nell and Fabien, and really enjoyed how their paths met and what happened next. I loved following them around Paris and seeing how their characters developed in this short story, in fact it almost felt like a full novel.

Poppy Corby-Tuech a new-to-me narrator, was perfect for this story. I loved her portrayal of Nell and Fabien, and the minor characters as well.

Highly recommended if you’re enjoy short romance stories set in Paris.
