Stacking The Shelves is hosted at Tynga’s Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
So, following on from last week’s post I’ve only acquired two books and a sample chapter from NetGalley, not bad considering I have a self-imposed ban for this month. 😉
My NetGalley Haul
Birthday treats from family and friends 🙂
My library haul for a reading challenge I’m taking part in via Litsy and Goodreads.
Last but not least a physical book in the post via Twitter from HQ Stories

So, what have you been adding to your shelves lately?
Look forward to hearing what you think about The Taster. I’m intrigued.

I’m trying to stay away from NetGalley at the moment but it’s really hard to resist so you’ve done well just getting a couple of books from there this week. I won a copy of Still Me on twitter recently so I’m excited to read that one soon as well. I hope you enjoy it when you get to it. I shared my Christmas book haul today: https://rathertoofondofbooks.com/2018/01/13/my-christmas-book-haul-stacking-the-shelves-13-jan/

I requested it ages ago but didn’t realise it eas only was the first chapter. It was brilliant though and made me laugh out loud a few times.

That’s a shame that it was only the first chapter but it’s a good sign that you enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to reading it soon.

The Taster sounds good! And yay for Neverwhere, my absolute favorite Neil Gaiman read. ❤ I hope you will enjoy these!

Nice haul 🙂 I hope you enjoy! 🙂
Since my last post of the imminent TBR, I have snagged 3 more books… 2 from Netgalley and an Amazon buy of an Estonian book translated to English 😀 I want to make an effort to read some Estonian literature this year as EST is turning 100 this year 😀

Will this be your first encounter with Neil Gaiman or Neverwhere? It is my favorite ❤ I hear that he narrates a lot of his own audio. I have yet to look into this though.

Yes it is apart from a short story that I didn’t finish. I’m really enjiying Neverwhere it’s very well done with a fantastic cast.

Yes I’ve just seen some photos on imdb and it’s looks very dated!

So much haha. But I love it. I have a soft spot for dated scifi and fantasy.
