First Impression Friday is a meme created and hosted by Joe @J.W. Martin – Storeys of Stories. Based on this sampling of your current read, give a few impressions and predict what you’ll think by the end.
• Did you think you’d love it and ended up hating it? Or did you think you’d hate it and wound up loving it? Or were you exactly right?
• Link back to Storeys of Stories so he can enjoy reading all the First Impression Fridays out there!
Following on from my enjoyable experience of listening to Agatha Christie’s Death on the Nile earlier this month, I’m now listening to Poirot Investigates.
I enjoyed David Suchet’s narration so much that I felt the need to listen to the only other digital download available from the library. This audiobook is of 11 short stories originally published in 1924.
The format is rather reminiscent of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, the genius detective and his rather slow companion solving various mysteries. I’m almost half way through and I’m thoroughly enjoying it, so I’m sure to rate this highly on Goodreads.
Happy listening! Sounds like the perfect voice to read these stories!

Thanks. He’s very good at reading them and surprisingly good at the women! 😀

They’re quite funny, especially with way Hastings describes Poirot’s habits! 😀
